Yummy Peach and Berry Shortcake with no wheat or refined sugars!

Cut peaches up into small chunks add black berries.

Strawberries, cut them up in fours.

Strawberries and Shortbread!

Add fruit all together then put it on top of a shortbread cookie! Yummm!!!!!
This yummy treat is so easy and delicious. It has no sugar or wheat. The cookies have rice flour and agave nectar. The fruit is sweet enough as is. If you like you could make a delicious whip cream for the top. I usually make coconut whip cream. It's so easy just use the coconut milk in a can, put in the frig until the thick part of the coconut milk is on top ( maybe 20 Min) and you use only that part to mix with agave and vanilla. Whip it up and it tastes just like whip cream. We ate it so fast that I could not get a picture. Enjoy!

I am looking at decorating The Cozy Craft Corner located in Downtown Sacramento in French Country Shabby Chic style. We went yard sailing on Saturday and found a great chest for $25.
This dresser looks kinda like the one I got at the yard sale but mine is yellow.
This inspired me to do the above mentioned style. I love the sea foam green color, yellow, purple and red. In looking for things in this style I found this cool french blog. It turns out she has combined it with another blog she had and has just the one now. It's theseasonalcottage.blogspot.com.
I like how she has the days organized a certain way.
Sunday~ Reflections
Monday~ Random Musings
Tuesday ~ In the Studio
Wednesdays ~ Through My Lens
Thursday's ~ French Find
Friday's ~ Food Feature
Saturday ~ Simple Pleasures
I think it would be fun to have something like this on my blog but not sure what yet.

I am going today to look at paint colors. I found some french stencils on etsy I might get. But I also like the walls that have writing on them so instead of a design I might do words.
I like this color!

I like the color of this one, this is a color I want on the wall.
We will see how the shop turns out. I am looking forward to decorating and setting up. I officially have the shop spot as of  today! Yay!

New Adventure in the Making The Cozy Craft Corner!

This past month I have been working on my business. The name is The Cozy Craft Corner. It will be a place where you can come get classes, and meet artistic, creative people like yourself.

A Collage I did recently.
I set some classes up for this month in a gift shop Trezhers Gifts on Riverside blvd in the Land Park area of Sacramento, Ca.
Journal, Wire Wrap Pendants and Wire Wrap Rings are the classes offered.

Hand bound Journal I made.
The most exciting thing happened! I found the perfect location for a shop and will be moving in the middle of July. Opening in August and located in Downtown Sacramento. The building has been an Art Complex. I have so many ideas of classes and fun things to do there. I will be selling my jewelry and goods, as well as supplies.

Copper Heart Ring I made.
I have started a meetup group. If you have not heard of it well it's a website where you can find all kinds of meetings, adventures and such with groups of people. It is a very big site so wherever you are there is sure to be local meetup groups. Check it out!
Wire Wrapped Heart Pendant I made.
I am looking forward to seeing how this adventure will help others through art self expression. I know how much art has helped me in my life. I hope to see you all at The Cozy Craft Corner!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Last day of school! Yahoo!! Summer is finally here.

I had this great idea to make chocolate covered strawberries for my daughters Teacher, Principal and office help. I had never made them before, but I figured I could look online. I bought the biggest strawberries. chocolate, white chocolate, cantaloupe, and roses. I got cute pots to fill with these goodies. I had so much fun making them. Melting the chocolate was easy. I put sprinkles on one, drizzled white chocolate on the others and on one I put white chocolate chips stuck to the dark chocolate. I used some glass filler shapes to cover the foam that I stuck the sticks into.

I love the way they turned out. I dipped one cantaloupe in chocolate with white chocolate drizzle. I arranged the roses in between each one. I think they were loved because when I picked my daughter up there were only roses left in all of them. I enjoy making fun things like this! A big thanks to the people who work at the schools and make our children's days wonderful.
